Kerry Smith

Kerry is an experienced compliance consultant with a passion for helping organisations navigate the complex landscape of regulatory requirements. With over 20 years of experience across various sectors including fiduciary services, fund and investment management, gaming, legal and accountancy firms, she specialises in developing tailored compliance solutions that not only meet regulatory standards but also enhance operational efficiency.

Kerry’s journey in compliance began working for the Isle of Man Financial Services Regulator then later moving in to private practice working at a senior level. She has successfully partnered with companies of all sizes, guiding them through regulatory visits, enforcement action and remediation programmes along with proactive risk and compliance management in order to achieve the highest level of internal compliance.  In addition, Kerry has worked with businesses undertaking due diligence as part of mergers and acquisitions, understanding the needs and sensitivities of complex corporate transactions.  

Kerry believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with teams to foster a culture of compliance that empowers employees and strengthens the organisation, and is often engaged in providing training and support on a range of risk and compliance topics, industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that clients remain a step ahead.
